Tevir Group have undertaken significant investment into the site now known as Villiers Square, which consists of Villiers House, Clarendon House, Douglas Town Square and a development plot.
Douglas Town Square is developing a growing reputation for playing host to a number of events in recent months hosted by the likes of Douglas Town Centre Management and the Department of the Environment, Food and Agriculture, with the plot adjacent to the prom showing great potential for a development project in the near future.
We are delighted to share that the planning application for the development of Villiers Square has been approved. The submission was stated to be an exemplar approach and gained a unanimous decision at committee last week. The statement office building will offer market leading sustainable accommodation for the island, along with retail and leisure space plus an 80-key hotel, all centred around a new public square. Works are due to begin in late 2024.
